Moving Day! On June 25, 2007 Carolyn’s Place moved into its permanent
location at 137 Grandview Ave. in Waterbury, CT. Thanks to over 40 volunteers of all ages, and God blessing us with beautiful weather, the move went quickly and smoothly. The Middlebury Knights of Columbus who were instrumental in the refurbishing process of the house for the past four months, once again came to our aide, and got to see their work come to completion by assisting with the move. They were joined by the Southington Council of Knights of Columbus as well as many other volunteers. At one point there was an assembly line from the truck on the street into the house and up two flights of stairs proving the expression that “many hands make light work.”

One of our new neighbors, Felipe, brought red and white roses to adorn Our Lady in front of our new facility.

We sincerely appreciate all of the help we received during our move and invite all of these people to please stop by and visit now that things are more organized. We promise we will not put you to work!
