Marking fifteen years of service to the community, Carolyn’s Place Pregnancy Resource Center will
hold its Annual Dinner on Sunday, November 4 at
Villa Rosa Pontelandolfo Restaurant, 380
Farmwood Road in Waterbury.
The event which
begins at 6:00 pm, provides an opportunity for
volunteers, supporters, family and friends to come
together for an evening of celebration. Carolyn’s
Place is delighted to have the Most Reverend
Henry J. Mansell, Archbishop of Hartford, as its
guest of honor for the event. Archbishop Mansell
has been recognized as a strong leader for
pro-life principles and advocacy and is pleased
to share the evening with us.
The festivities include a special guest presentation by Archbishop Mansell, updates
about Carolyn’s Place programs, and our newly purchased facility along
with a full course dinner. We will also have a raffle for a beautiful oil painting of
a country theme from Cromwell, CT which is specially painted for our event each
year by acclaimed artist Sam D’Ambruoso who will join us at the dinner.
Carolyn’s Place Annual Dinner is held each year in celebration of the birth of
Carolyn Marie Johnna, the infant found at St. John the Evangelist Church in
Watertown which led to the rganization’s founding and name. This year’s
dinner will be held on the actual date of her sixteenth birthday. The Center has
provided community outreach services in addition to advising women on the importance
of choosing life for their unborn child, to the Greater Waterbury area
for fifteen years.
